TRAINING PROCESSES

Fersped’s department for legal affairs and human resources has always taken care of the training processes in the company ever since the incorporation of the company. But only after the implementation of the ISO standard 9001: 2000 in 2000, we have created the TRAINING PROCESS within our needs with the ultimate aim to improve the level of services in the core business. According to this Process, the trainings are planned on an annual level as either external or internal.

 

Internal are within the competence of company managers and heads, while the External are carried out by professional schools and institutions.

 

In 2009 the External Training have been and are attended by:

Customs operations: 47 employees
*up until the first half of 2009 over 80 employees involved in customs processes have obtained a competence license
Languages (English, Albanian and Greek): 17 employees
Computers: 16 employees
Only in the first half of 2009, as an example, the Internal Training on the theme Transit Systems and Incoterms 2000, was attended by 46 employees.

 

Along with these processes, we are present on more important events arranged by chambers of commerce, association of lawyers and financial consultants. Regional and global congresses organized by our peers in the industry on local and international level also attract our attention. We are regular hosts and/or guests for all informative or other meetings of clubs and associations being their long-term and committed members. Just in this field, only in the first half of 2009, some 40 people took active part.

According to the completed Plan for Trainings in 2008, the company spent only for the External Trainings some 430.000 MKD, at the same time projecting budget for 2009 of about 700.000 MKD. Registration fees, material and accommodation as well as travel expenses for attending congresses, seminars etc., are not included in this sum.

 

The main idea behind this process is of course to produce a workforce that will be able to improve the company's performance and ensure its progress and modernization, which will evidently help the processes of faster adjustment to the standards and conditions ruling in the EU countries.
